Elementary & Middle School Arts Immersion Classes
Your child will have the chance to explore his or her creativity and make high quality artwork at this unique art camp. All children will receive highly personalized instruction as they work with specially trained teaching artists on a one to five ratio.
Students entering grades 3 through 8 will have the opportunity to create unique, masterful art at Dramatic Results’ week-long summer art classes. Students will have the option of taking just a morning or just an afternoon class for $245/week or taking both the morning and the afternoon class for $395/week (students staying the whole day must bring sack lunches). There will be one teaching artist for every five students so students will receive highly personalized instruction. You may register your child for one week or all nine weeks.

*4 days only (M-Th); classes are $195 for AM or PM only/$345 for all day)
Note: Classes can be taken multiple times! Students enrolled in a class more than once will have the opportunity to explore advanced techniques. All classes will culminate in a performance or art show.
Course Descriptions:
Abstract Painting Workshop - Students will learn about abstract art, and then create masterful paintings on real canvases incorporating various aspects of abstract art.
Art Potpourri - There will be a little bit of everything in this class as students partake in a variety of visual arts and theater arts activities. The sky’s the limit in this class, where students explore Surrealism, movement, rhythm, sculpture, and more!
Basket Weaving -Students will design, and then weave real reed baskets from scratch. Students will make two high quality baskets and a North Carolina snowflake.
Drawing and Painting Workshop -Students will learn how to create original still lifes, portraits, and landscapes in this intensive workshop. Students will study proportion, color theory, and more!
Origami Exploration -Students will explore the ancient Japanese art of origami and learn about its modern-day applications. Students will learn to fold paper masterpieces and use paper in a series of fun scientific experiments.
Theater Exploration -Students will learn a variety of drama techniques through improvisation games, and then work in groups to create original scripts, create their own props and scenery, and put on a show for family and visitors.
Writing and Art -Students will explore their creativity through a variety of art projects using printmaking, painting, drawing, collage, and write original poems to go along with each of their art projects.
